Maciej Buszewicz

Born: 1952 in Rawicz, South-West Poland

Polish graphic artist, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
He has worked together with Ryszard Kapuściński, Andrzej Wajda, Christian Boltanski and Frank Gehry. He designed, among others, the poster "Zachodźże czerwone słoneczko" (The setting of the little red sun) for the campaign before the elections in June 1989.
He is head of the Department of Book and Illustration at the Faculty of Graphic Design of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. In 2019 he became a member of the Council for Scientific Excellence. He lives in Warsaw, where he runs his own design studio.
